Privacy Policy
Your family’s plans are personal. This page explains what WeePlanner — this website and the iPhone and iPad app — does with your information.
Last updated: October 13, 2026
- The current version stores family profiles, calendar plans and saved originals on this iPhone or iPad.
- Voice is transcribed on your device. Pasted and shared messages are normally parsed there too.
- Automatic document reading is still being prepared. When available, it sends documents or chosen message text to a cloud reading service.
- No WeePlanner account or sign-in is needed. The app has no ads or analytics tools.
- We do not sell your information for advertising.
This website
WeePlanner does not add cookies, advertising trackers or analytics tools to this website. It is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes request information, such as IP addresses, to provide and secure its services. Cloudflare may use security-related cookies depending on the protections enabled. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

The WeePlanner app
Your family’s plans
Family profiles, events, reminders, notes and saved originals are kept in the app’s local storage on this device. The current version has no partner invitations or calendar syncing between devices. A parent or child profile is a name and color in this local calendar, not a separate account.
Your device’s backup settings may include app data in an Apple-managed backup. This is separate from WeePlanner calendar syncing. See Apple’s explanation of iCloud Backup.
Reading documents and messages
Automatic document reading is still being prepared. When it is available, a newly shared flyer, photo or PDF can be sent automatically to the reading service when you open WeePlanner. The result is a draft: you check it and confirm before a calendar event is saved. The original stays in your device’s Inbox even if reading fails or you complete the details yourself.
Pasted, typed, spoken and shared messages are normally parsed on your device. If details are missing and you choose “Read with AI” when it is available, only the message text is sent to the reading service; microphone audio is not sent.
Cloud reading uses an encrypted connection through a Cloudflare-hosted service to Anthropic’s API. The WeePlanner reading service is designed not to save document or message content; it keeps an aggregate service-cost counter. Providers process requests under their own policies, including Anthropic’s API retention policy. Deleting a local flyer does not delete a request already processed by a provider.
The app keeps successful reading dates locally to manage the shared allowance for document reading and “Read with AI”: up to 10 per calendar month and 5 in the last 7 days on this device. Failed readings do not use the allowance. Cloud reading requires an internet connection.
Voice
WeePlanner asks for microphone permission when you first use voice entry. The microphone is used only while voice capture is running, and speech is turned into text on your iPhone or iPad. Audio is processed on the device and is not sent to the WeePlanner reading service. Apple speech-language files may need to be downloaded before a language can be used. You review the plan before adding it.
Reminders
Reminders are scheduled locally on the device where the plan is saved. Notification permission is requested when you first save a plan with a reminder. Assigning a plan to another family profile does not send a notification to that person’s phone.
Keeping the original
The current version does not automatically delete saved flyers after an event. Originals stay in the Inbox until you delete them. Deleting a calendar event returns its linked flyer to New. Deleting a flyer removes its Inbox entry and saved original; it does not delete a calendar event you already added.
Children’s profiles
You can add a child’s name and color as a profile and manage their plans on your device. Children do not create accounts, join with their own Apple Account or receive editing permissions in the current version.
Your choices
- Delete individual events, flyers or family profiles in WeePlanner.
- To remove the app’s local data, use Settings → General → iPhone Storage (or iPad Storage) → WeePlanner → Delete App. Offload App keeps documents and data. See Apple’s app-storage guidance.
- Manage existing device backups separately through your Apple settings.
- Change notification and microphone permissions in your device’s Settings.
- When cloud reading is available, complete missing message details yourself instead of choosing “Read with AI”.
Changes
We will update this page and its date when WeePlanner’s data handling changes, including before enabling cloud reading or calendar syncing between devices.
